A Lockout Padlocks(lockout tagout padlock) is a padlock specially used for industrial safety isolation. It is usually equipped with different colors, unique keys, non-conductive lock bodies and other features. It is used to identify and isolate power supplies or equipment to prevent misoperation.
1.Different Keyed Series (KD)
The keys of each padlock are different, and the keys cannot open each other.
2.Keyed Alike Series (KA)
Multiple padlocks can be opened by the same key. Any key can open all padlocks in this series.
3.Different Keyed with Master Key Series (KDMK)
The padlocks have different keys and cannot open each other.
The KDMK key is the master key, which can open all padlocks in this group,
but it cannot open padlocks in other different-keyed master key series.
4.Keyed Alike with Master Key Series (KAMK)
All padlocks have the same key and can open each other.
The KAMK key is the master key that can also open any padlock in this group.
5.Grand Master Key Series (GMK)
Multiple padlocks have different keys.
Each group has a KDMK master key to manage and open the padlocks in that group.
A GMK (Grand Master Key) is provided to open all padlocks across all groups.
1.The company provides 8 key sets of different colors for the key to be used together, so that the function of the key is more enhanced.
2.The mother key is covered with a black key shell, and the child key is not covered. This makes it easy to distinguish which one is the mother key in actual situations.
3.Departments are divided by different colors.
For example, red keys with red padlocks are assigned to the electrical maintenance department.
Yellow keys with yellow padlocks are assigned to the fitter department.
Blue keys with blue padlocks are assigned to the production department.
This color-coded system helps clearly identify which department is performing maintenance or which department the keys belong to, making management more convenient.
